Do you expect the front office to go after players under team control beyond this season? I'm still have flashbacks to Ross Atkins boasting about years of control at a deadline...

Coming into the season I thought Wagner would contribute more than others from that young group. Does he still have a path to meaningful playing time this year?

What impact does Addison Barger's performance have on the path for Orelvis Martinez? Is he becoming more of a tradable asset now?

I'll cast a vote for Francis, Popkins, and the Meat Truck. Bassitt/Gausman feels like a good opening day pairing!

I expected Scherzer to want to go to a contender. Did they simply outbid others? Does he think more help is coming? Or is Atkins great at selling everyone but the fans on this current roster?

Bridging this knowledge gap without appearing to be condescending or preachy, is a critical challenge for the left if the hope is to have meaningful discourse moving forward. Fascinating article.

I'm all for pursuing the big targets, that's what big market teams should be doing. But how many times do they have to get burned before they learn the value of a backup plan? Do they get completely blinded/preoccupied with each of these efforts?
