Considering the quality of doctor and researcher that are frequently trotted out by science-denying congress people, I believe the research team will be massively biased and the resulting "research" will only be picked up by such esteemed publications like "The Journal of Controversial Ideas"

That's not to say that cancelling the meeting is a worrisome indication, it is, but it doesn't mean there will be no updated flu shots this year.
