Occured to me today that the Columbine which was the first mass/media shooting happened when I was in high school, and now my sons kindergarten is getting buzzed by helicopters and canvassed by the FBI for the most recent one. A whole generation of thoughts and prayers

In an update at 4:51 p.m., the university erroneously said one suspect was reported to be in custody. However, a later update at 5:22 p.m. confirmed that “police do not have a suspect in custody and continue to search for suspect(s).

Imo a good album construction is 5/9 bangers 2/9 slow jams and 2/9 weirdies. If it works out its nice to leave the weirdies until the end because at that point you should feel like you’ve aced the test of making music, which leaves a bridge of pure experimentation / dome goofin into whatevers next

Been casually reviewing on The Other Site, really enjoyed thinking about this one as is the custom
Whenever I ‘finish’ a track usually I’ll hear changes that need to be made the next day (if not a total rework) but there’s a golden era where I’m convinced of my genius (lol) after finishing and before reassessment. Recently I’ve made the call to lounge in and embrace this feeling. Feels good!
