I fully expected this to be bleak, but they went hard FAST. Oligarchs lined up behind him. Musk gives a Nazi salute. Trump pardons Proud Boys leader. And the media is owned by the oligarchs and utterly complicit. I feel like we are watching a modern day Nazi Germany rise.

It’s absolutely bonkers that these people are still banging on about bathrooms. You won. You control everything. You’re going to have the worst government in American history, doing the stupidest possible nonsense, just as you dreamed. And yet it’s still just nonstop grievance from them. Good grief.

Starting a phony transgender bathroom debate and hiding behind the guise of “protecting women” to distract from your attempts to push through the confirmations of alleged rapists, sex traffickers, and fraudsters at the highest levels of government is peak Republican Party.

Last time, Trump followed the reasonable advice for picking his cabinet. Those people reigned in Trump's worst impulses. This time, Trump is mostly filling his cabinet with B-list reality TV folks. Gonna be such a shit-show. But perhaps their incompetence will prevent them from doing too much harm.
