"Spooky Mulder" is a terrible nickname. They could've gone with "Macabre Mulder" or "Freaky Fox." Alliteration matters, people.

It kills me how he ruined "YMCA" because it was the only song left when artists told him to piss off.

There is literally a Village People song called "In the Navy" and they went with the double jerk off dance instead. Fascists have no imagination.

Dancing to a Village People song with a bunch of sailors.

I've not seen this one. (My TOS knowledge is lacking.) Wiki tells me the network held this back so they could show it for Halloween, so that's a plus.

Oh, also the “Catspaw” episode of OG *Star Trek*.

"Empok Nor" is a terrific haunted house episode.

"Blink" is one I'll watch around Halloween most years. Great horror.

Twilight Zone is weird, as it's remembered as a creepy show but half the episodes are "old guy goes back to 1890s home town" or whatever, lots of Kick the Can sweetness. Serling had a nostalgia fetish.

I'm wondering if The Twilight Zone could generally be considered "non-creepy"; "It's a GOOD Life" in a walk, if so.
davidcornelius.bsky.social
What are your favorite creepy episodes of non-creepy shows? (TNG's "Night Terrors," for example.)

Jealous! Closest I got was cheap print red/blue glasses at a drive-in, where the effect was practically nil from inside the car. Good on them for trying, but still.
