I’m not a confrontational person but if I saw him in person, I would absolutely tell him to go fuck himself.

Another insane move from the Trump regime.

One of NCAR's contributions to climate science is the development of the Community Earth System Model (CESM), which is used by researchers worldwide. Here's a simulation of air-sea CO₂ fluxes from CESM.

They can't make the bridge wider, and compared to paint, I think bollards are an upgrade.

Nice to watch a MVDP CX race that wasn’t decided in the first lap. #Namur

People like Steve Bannon are fully capable of being rational. The extremism is just a grift. Here he is as acting CEO at Biosphere 2, discussing the global change research being conducted there.

I learned about the adaptors because I am discarding a lot of failed batteries but wanted to keep using the older tools with the new batteries that I have. It’s also annoying that I can’t just replace the cells in these batteries.

This is why daylighting is essential if we care about Vision Zero. How is that white car supposed to see with that giant pickup truck parked in the way?

Proprietary battery designs are annoying. I just discovered that you can get adapters to use the same battery across different power tools, even with different voltages (they have built-in DC-to-DC converters) and different brands. Game changer!

Anything that leads to more fossil fuels coming out of the ground is bad news.

One reason Running Tide failed was that they lacked expertise in the ocean and they didn't care. Jón Ólafsson is an expert in the ocean carbon cycle around Iceland and the most respected oceanographer in Iceland, and this was the attitude of Running Tide's CEO towards Prof. Ólafsson. 🙄

I went to the Toronto Star website to read some Canadian news and was served this amazing ad.

Re-reading Daniel Epps and Ganesh Sitaraman's Yale Law Journal article on how to reform SCOTUS for no particular reason.

There's one notable difference between 2024 and 2025 and I want it to stop.

Being protected from the flu and COVID is great, but I did it for the coupons.

Did you make sure to keep the camera away from the volcano like we discussed?

Yeah, about that…
December 6, 2025 at 8:32 PM
If you go back a few minutes, you can see the camera get hit by debris and stop working. 🥹

But do any of them have a bicycle chase scene as good as the one from Project A?
December 6, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Apparently people are once again asking who's at fault here. We can improve road safety dramatically by revoking the driver's licence of everyone who thinks it's the cyclist's fault.
