immigration matters were at stake in 24 of 42 instances (57 percent) in which judges found officials had misled the courts. Immigration also topped the list of instances where judges have found noncompliance with orders: 19 of the 31 were immigration.

DHS is claiming that they are under such a violent attack by a population when they are 290 times more violent than the population they are "policing"

Homicide rate per 100,000 Minneapolis residents this year: 0.23
Homicide rate per 100,000 DHS agents: 67.66
290 times higher than the rate for the general population.

There were three DHS shootings in MN this year versus 4 total. On a per-capita basis, the 3,000 DHS agents are shooting and killing people at an insane rate.

MN could and should try, but no QI and Bivens would go a long way to correct this problem. It’d be worth voting yes on this appropriations bill especially since DHS does not even need the money
