This is so obviously not "bank fraud". And yet you have to read the indictment and her mortgage agreement to find this out. That is sane washing. Why can't the headline reveal how phony there charges are?

I'll never understand how that level of racism blatantly displayed by Donald Trump is tolerated. At the very least, how is it tolerated on MSNBC/MSNOW, supposedly the "liberal" channel. At least we have one hour a night with #LastWord with @lawrenceodonnell.msnbc.com that does not disappoint.

You're right, it is bogus. But the claim is that she would have gotten a higher interest rate if she informed the lender that this was an investment property and not a second home.

The joke is that lenders look up all your financial information and they know more about you than you do.

Letitia James bought a second home in Norfolk Virginia for $137,000 taking out a mortgage of $109,600 at 3%. The claim is that she rented it out as an investment property and should have gotten a 3.815% rate. She owes the government $18,933.

She defrauded no one. The mortgage company knew full well

Holy shit, the federal government spent many millions of dollars and lost many career professionals trying to penalize Leticia James a mere $18,933. Meanwhile they claim Homan taking a $50,000 bribes is no big deal. What a scam.
