The flannel dunce. Defector.com is the website
I feel bad about having given even a moment's though to this, but I think you're probably right. He saw a lane and he took it, and now we have a Guy Who Says Jerry Sandusky Was Innocent for this particular story. An amazing career move for sure.

I was struck by how hard it hit for me because I'd seen the act before, albeit on TV. Like I knew how the "I am somebody" bit was going to go; it wasn't new to me. But beyond the (insanely high) quality of his performance, it felt different and so much more urgent in person. That's theater, I guess.

I still think of him as the greatest live performer I have ever seen, and I was a football field away while he gave a speech supporting the cafeteria worker strike at my college. How did you come to be at that church on that day?

I'm not proud of it but I have no choice but to stand by it.

Given the rates I'm paying for prayer now that's an amazing deal

Look they're both great, and great friends of the program.

He's fine! Let a hundred flowers bloom. But yeah he's a little underseasoned for my taste.

I agree, but also I don't even mind David Ayer! Give me five David Ayers making movies that show up in theaters every year and a couple of them will be good. I'm a maximalist on this issue.

Plemons is probably the least conventionally hot but he's also the closest to that Duvall type of character-star that we've got. Different vibe, different roles, and still a good-looking guy, but clearly not getting hired off jawline/traps.

Yeah the Phil Tippett stuff in it is unreal. The Frank Miller/other stuff is much less so.

I make that comparison all the time, which is how I know it is "a little hack," but also I agree with it.

This is the best thing you can do with an imdb bio in my opinion.

Only kind of related, but I went on IMDB to remember who else was in the ROBOCOP 2 cast and this dude's IMDB profile headshot is him getting devoured by a TREMORS graboid. That's cool as fuck.

You know, I haven't. I own the album but I have not seen the movie. As I recall Ebert loved it, that was usually enough to get me to watch stuff when I was in HS and college, but I never saw it.

So I can put this here, which is sort of on main but also not: he lived next door to my old Alexander Method teacher, like right above LaMaMa, and she did think he was weird. Not like scary or anything but her whole clientele was actors and she was like "that man is a lot of ACTOR."

His performance in The Last Action Hero is great! The movie is not good but that would and should have gotten him more work at that scale if it had hit, I think. He did a lot of cool stuff after that anyway, but he deserved a big apartment.
