This is a bad day for Boeing. Its Starliner space capsule was expected to be a premier commercial crew vehicle. Today, NASA cut its contract with Boeing for missions to the International Space Station from six to just four. The next mission (after Suni-Butch extended stay ISS) will be cargo only.

Aaron Brown has passed away. He was a competitor, then a colleague, and later a counselor as I moved to ABC News. The guy could write and made an impact at each of his stops. Our families went through our first pregnancies together. Our thoughts are with Aaron's family.

NASA announces its schedule to return to the Moon is slipping another year. Artemis II, the first crewed trip around the Moon is now set for April 2026. The Artemis III landing on the Moon is moving to mid-2027 as long as SpaceX's lander is ready.
