Most people are decent and it's just a few ruining it for everyone else. One day we'll learn how to marginalise them into obscurity.

No DM's please ...
Great news.

"Our" warriors?

Just spitballing here, but I reckon the number of "white (WTF?) working class lads prepared to defend Allison Pearson can safely be counted on the fingers of one hand. And none of them would ever pass conscription.

Ferrrai's problem is that winning is not enough - it has to win on its own terms. And that basically means winning outside the system.

Unless they build a base in the UK so they can get the best operators in F1 they're going nowhere. Put up an Italian Flag outside it by all means.

I’m already looking forward to the investigation as to why there were no investigations into foreign interference into Brexit.

My introduction to Free, Tull, Spencer Davis, Traffic, John Martyn and Fairport Convention. The latter singing "Meet On The Ledge."

It was cheap and completely brilliant. One of those that spawned the genre.

They’re taking you into their confidence. You‘re among the very first to learn this great new truth.

No love lost there, then.

Very fair point.

Exactly. Ever since the ground effect era started.

The red of Ferrari. Sooner or later it'll get them all.

The sport has moved on since 2007, but Ferrari hasn't. Their problem is that winning on their own terms is more important to them than winning.

Oh, he had input after he arrived, but there was b***r all they could do. The car had a fundamental flaw baked in.
December 14, 2025 at 3:15 PM
However, the fact that is 2025 was a bad year for Lewis. He never really understood the car.

2026 will be different. Hopefully his requests have been factored in and the new regs play to his strengths. If they do, then we can judge whether he's a spent force, or not.
December 14, 2025 at 3:14 PM
That said, he fought his way back from a pretty hefty deficit to Charles - around 0.5 of a second- to under 0.2 of a second, during the course of the season. In a dog of a car, up against the man for whom the car was designed and set up.
December 14, 2025 at 3:11 PM
The ground effect era has exposed a weakness in Lewis' skillset - he needs the rear end to be reliable. It was bad at Mercedes, it was a lot worse at Ferrari. Of course Charles was going to score more points. A super quick driver, 7 seasons experience and a car built around him? Come on...
December 14, 2025 at 3:06 PM
😂

When they put the SF-25 together in 2024 (the key decisions for these cars are finalised the year before), who else did they have as a reference point? Carlos was off at the end of the season and Lewis was still at Brackley. Lewis had zero input and the car basically fell at the first hurdle.
December 14, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Interesting that they're putting the emphasis on the engine / battery aspect of the new regs. That's very different to the area where Mercedes had the advantage in 2014.
December 14, 2025 at 2:32 PM
The aero team got it all wrong at the start with their low-level approach and Ferrari were then stuck with that all season. I suspect that all the extra wind tunnel time in 2025 has gone towards making sure they don't introduce another season-long mistake with the next car.
December 14, 2025 at 2:31 PM
A remark that completely ignores the fact that Lewis *always* blames himself first and foremost.

It's also a fact that it was a dog of a car and it was set up for Charles' driving style. Only to be expected as he'd been with Ferrari for 7 seasons and they knew his exact requirements.
December 14, 2025 at 2:25 PM
Last para: who are the simulator drivers and what is the change in driving style?
December 14, 2025 at 2:15 PM
Why? Because you're not Christian enough.

A little less compassion and caring, please.

6 days later..

Speculation and drama - the only two words in BBC's political handbook.

Defund the entire department tomorrow.

It certainly screwed up OSX for me. I found myself resetting permissions ...
December 13, 2025 at 2:02 PM
Completely agree. There were times when George almost seemed to go missing.

On the tracks that suited it, the Merc was definitely a better car than the Ferrari which was pretty much second-rate everywhere.
