I really like keeping my systems stable too. It seems like every few years, I want to use some program that doesn't support my older OS and so I have to judge whether I want to update and risk breaking things. I had good luck with it recently but in the past it's caused real issues! It's a bummer!

Multiple times now IRL I've been in some group fun situation (like family board game night) that ends with someone going "Haha, now here's an AI song recapping everything we just did!" And it's always a little sheepish, like, this is stupid but goofy, which makes all the kids there think it's goofy

I briefly worked on a reality show that featured a polygraph and it was sick because the operator could just give the most dramatically appropriate answer at any time, nbd
