Not sure why Providence Place IMAX in RI stopped giving us 70mm showings. We had Oppenheimer, but no Sinners, no One Battle After Another? I thought they had the projector to do it.

I mean, no snark sometimes I wish I was more diligent about note-taking for problems I’ve solved, then I’d have an LLM that I could ask, “how did I fix this last year?”

Watched All The President’s Men recently, and if any film needs a 4K Criterion remaster, it’s that one.
people have already mentioned SNEAKERs, THREE DAYS OF THE CONDOR and of course ALL THE PRESIDENT’S MEN as great redford performances, let me recommend THE CANDIDATE, which is really one of the best movies ever made about american politics

If I were a lawyer who had to go before a judge who told me she didn’t believe me, I’d reconsider my job, and choices in life more broadly. Thanks to @annabower.bsky.social pointing us to @johnhawkinson.bsky.social’s live thread when she couldn’t get the audio.
