Most campaigns for national office can create a mutual aid hub or network. They are not expensive is the point. In local races budgets are obviously much slimmer but local races are likely even better examples of where mutual aid can have an impact. Again mutual aid is cheap…is the point.

The rent of a recently-built building has to reflect the cost of constructing it. But the rent of an old building does not. That portion of the rent of the old building is also a rent economically.

Maybe that profile of Ruthie Gilmore? Though I’m not sure how we would gauge if it worked out. She’s the main theorist of modern abolitionist politics and was so before the feature. Golden Gulag was already pretty old of a book by then.

Their representation in key industries is at least double what their share of the pop predicts but it’s still not enough for them!
