I can’t help but think this does little to aid those of us on the sensible side of politics. When a venerable institution like the BBC, long accused of leaning left, distorts events of such seriousness, it corrodes public trust and lends weight to every charge of bias.

Watching certain leaders today, one cannot help but recall Charles I, a man who cloaked ambition in divine right and defied the law, only to meet his reckoning. Power unrestrained by conscience has never led to glory, only to ruin. #NoKings

I’m reading Nuclear War: A Scenario by Annie Jacobsen and it’s honestly terrifying. The U.S. still keeps a “launch on warning” policy, meaning nuclear weapons can be fired before an incoming strike even lands. One radar glitch, one bad call, and it’s all over. This book makes it feel scarily real. 😱

Malta became independent on this day back in 1964 🇲🇹 After centuries under British rule, the island finally stood on its own. They still celebrate it today as Independence Day, a proud moment in their history. Today, the UK and Malta enjoy a close friendship through the Commonwealth & tourism.
