Why isn't every critic of the 'leave the ECHR' so called 'policy' not simply saying this:

Not saying they should, necessarily, but it's sort of interesting that monopolies in the energy sector have never produced research labs like Bell had in the era of its telecomm monopoly. Why did Bell Labs invent the solar cell, not Duke Labs, PG&E Labs, NextEra Labs, Exelon Labs, or whatever? 🤔

Sometimes I think about how from 1935-1975ish, Bell Labs produced an insane amount of revolutionary science and technology, including 11 Nobel Prizes, the transistor, UNIX, C, the laser, the solar cell, information theory, etc. The secret? Provide scientists with ample, steady, no-strings funding.

Starmer's seem to be literally living day to day with little or no regard our future wellbeing just focussed on this manic & unsustainable goal for growth, at the same time invoking Austerity. We need a paradigm shift to end health & wealth inequality, embracing progressive socialist policies & MMT.

Labour can use it's super majority with the LD's, the Greens & probably the Scots to force PR through before the election.

By the end of this term it be absolutely clear to Labour that the only way forward with anything like a left of centre momentum will come from a progressive alliance, but we need them to cave into PR sometime very soon.
