I want to applaud @slj.com for including #WarriorOnTheMound by #SandraHeaden in 2024's Best Books For Middle Grade! I booktalked this to schools in June because I fell in love! The voice is perfect and lends an immediacy not often found in historical fiction. A home run! #booksky #baseball

She should be President right now.
