Independents are more afraid of the left than the right. They are socially moderate, but care more about being fiscally conservative. Biden won because he was the last centrist in DC. The Dems need a moderate message or they will lose again in 2028. You may not like it, but it’s the truth.

The Attorney General should be an independent office that is elected every 4 years during the midterm elections. He or she is the chief law enforcement officer in the nation and should not be influenced by politicians. The AG should answer to the people.

The 14th amendment, section 3 is very clear and I would argue that the last line is the most important. Ending with Congress may remove it by a 2/3 vote, says to me that it is automatically applied to an insurrectionist. It does not say congress must act to apply it, just the opposite.

Patriots firing Jerod Mayo was the right thing. We knew the offense would struggle, but this was a top 5 defense in 2023. In fact, other than the QB, no part of the team was better than last year and that’s saying something. Time for Vrabel.

When I look at the debt in terms of percentage of growth, what strikes me is that Trump is the only one who didn’t accomplish anything significant for the money he spent. You can love or hate the others, but at least the money was spent on something other than just tax cuts.
