Nine days ago, I said Trump was trying to intimidate the entire legal profession.
Now it’s escalated: 500+ law firms just filed a brief calling his orders a “grave threat to the rule of law.”
Targeting judges. Bullying firms.
This isn’t strategy—it’s autocracy.
And finally, they’re pushing back.

“Just a reminder: the US is not Castro's Cuba, Putin's Russia, or Xi's China. At any moment the GOP could unite and oppose Trump and create a crisis for him. Their cowardice has been astounding but they can still act without being put in a Gulag or shot.”

Good debunk of a notorious fossil fuel lie.

In reality, as low-cost wind and solar enter the dispatch queue, high-cost fossil fuel plants in the stack go off-line, saving consumers money. The more they are off-line, the more the savings.
No, renewables don't need expensive backup power on today's grids
The actual story is the opposite: renewable energy pushes the most expensive fossil fuel plants out of business, lowering costs for consumers

This is extraordinarily dangerous. Tomorrow, the legacy media will ask Republican officials about this. Those officials will lie and obfuscate. And the legacy media will move on.
