It takes a special kind of right-wing British political party to literally sell black shirts.

Are you going to tell them?

Or shall I?

Inspired by Matthew Curtis’ podcast at Fynne Ales festival I got a box of Origins. First beer - Nadar blackcurrant - my favourite fruit. It is wonderful - saisonish with a lovely lingering blackcurrant taste. Feels almost healthy to drink.

The most French story since bumbling jewel thieves hit the Louvre.
A French cyclist survived for three days after a horrendous 130-foot fall into a ravine, kept alive by the bottles of red wine he had in his shopping bag, police said.

●King Charles III will privately fund his new living arrangements despite Andrew being very rich indeed

A free Europe is the Europe we believe in🇪🇺

Not the Europe of Putin.

Not the Europe of Orban.

Not the Europe of Fico.

Not the Europe of Farage.

Not the Europe of Le Pen or the AfD.

With Ukraine, we must defend a Europe built on democracy, accountability, human rights, and the rule of law.
🇺🇦President Zelenskyy: Alongside us stands all of free Europe, America, Canada, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and other partners around the world. Our result: 26 countries are now ready to guarantee Ukraine’s security through action. I am grateful to all the leaders for our joint work.

The plunder of our seas by industrial fishing is a monstrosity in which almost everyone unwittingly collaborates. For decades this truth has been deliberately hidden from us. Now at last the consensus is cracking.
