Just looking at the basic numbers for states free to act without opposition, Republicans have 44 Democrat seats to attempt to weaken and Democrats have 30 Republican seats to work on, so a national jerrymandering battle seems like it would be disadvantage blue.

An all-out gerrymandering war isn't a gimme. A court fight might work better. By my rough tally, if all of the states with one-party control flip an average of half of the opposing party's seats via gerrymandering, Republicans would gain 22 and Democrats would gain 15 and the House might remain red.
