A vessel for historical facts
Wouldn't say it was a bad book, per se, but I found it to be quite dull. Characters didn't do it for me.

When it's beem two weeks, you aren't feeling the usual urge to read and aren't even halfway through, DNF is the right decision.

Lords and Ladies has to be one of Pratchett's best books. Wonderful mythology, meaning, and intensely funny.

Rubicon was an excellent deep dive - definitely going to follow up with Dynasty and Pax soon.

I will probably save Hogfather for December. 🐖

And I've bought four more Asterix books! 😀

The Jurassic Park novel is more of a horror than the film. Genuinely a fantastic read.

Some Pratchett always sneaks in... Jingo feels very relevant to the state of the world at the moment. Some welcome laughter around a stressful time!

How often have you heard that the die is cast?
That someone is crossing the Rubicon?
Perhaps you've heard Romance languages spoken in France?
Perhaps you were born in July?
Without Caesar, would everyone know the name Cleopatra?
Would there be a greater symbol of betrayal than Brutus?
