As a country we may have often stumbled on the world stage but we've also done A LOT of good to be proud of.

The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."

BS is nice but it's still not at the level peak Twitter was.

Funders found me, jobs, research partners, the public, reporters, former secretary of Ed RTed my shit, governors.... So on.

Twitter revolutionised my career.

I learnt a huge amount about causal inference through #EpiTwitter.

And I met many amazing people who I've since had the joy of working with (Eg @epiellie.bsky.social, @epidbydesign.bsky.social, @robertwplatt.bsky.social, @jlrohmann.bsky.social, etc etc)

A year ago and 17lbs heavier.

Down to 250... The last 3 months I've been a lot more serious about dropping weight to get back down to 210-ish.

Cardio for an hour every day.

I've stopped lifting heavy, it's caught up with tendonitis and other issues. Now it's just gym muscles and a belly. 😂

And because of them, I'm not at all nice or welcoming of any fucking douchebag that supports that media ecosystem... Ain't gonna pretend about it either even at professional events. Fuck em all.

Imagine having to move to Europe for a year because social media users (and BOTs) doxxed you and people were giving you death threats.

I don't need to imagine the death threats, been there several times on Twitter.

Now imagine not having the resources to just up and move to Europe, many won't.
