Agreed. It grates when gov. Minsters must follow the party line. When long-term politicians stop trying to climb the greasy pole, they often treated as wise statesmen / women who can be listened to. The BBC frequently goes back to the people that Johnson kicked out the party for views. #r4today

TBF as a LD cllr 30 odd yrs ago, I was often clobbered by leaders for supporting ideas from other parties. And the antipathy between Greens and LD ironically was considerable. We all need to learn to work together on common ground like the MAGAs a la @rutgerbregman.com #r4today #politicslive
