The differences in geography in the US are kind of amusing sometimes. Someone posts about seeing coyotes in my local FB group and the majority of posts are "OMG KILL THEM SO DANGEROUS"
Growing up in AZ, this was not an uncommon encounter, even at this distance.

It's sort of amusing telling people not from the area about the Great Lakes. They're always shocked to learn that the lakes have killed thousands of people and claimed hundreds of ships because they're more like tiny freshwater oceans.
