If you are immunocompromised you can get it. I think there’s one type for mature and immunocompromised people and another type for others. I could be mistaken but I think so. It’s worth asking your doctor about if you are in your forties for sure.

I am 44 and I have had shingles twice. Believe me, you don’t want it.

I feel you. Do what you can, when you can.

I have lupus and your symptoms sound similar to mine. I pray that you get relief and find a proper treatment/solution.

I hope you get better soon. I agree with most comments that the weather (super cold in my area) aggravates these symptoms.

I take it as prescribed, which is 5mg of prednisone daily (I don’t have a set time prescribed, but I take it in the morning).

The largest dose while at home that I’ve had to take was 40mg which didn’t matter when I took it because I was edgy no matter what and taken during a large flare.

Taking it earlier in the day and staying away from caffeine helps with small doses of prednisone for me.

I have taken them for s while for #Lupus. It makes it hard to sleep and when your dose is higher, you can feel very irritable and like you’re driven by a motor.

It’s tough. I don’t wish it on anyone. I pray that your situation improves. I take it moment by moment.

With fractions I notice that some students don’t understand equivalent fractions, fractions as division, or how looking at models of fraction operations and relating them to a particular expression.

I’ve only mainly taught 2nd and 5th. The concept in 2nd were number sense with whole numbers and in 5th, number sense with fractions. Use of manipulatives and models helps.
