Upon starting edits, I always check to see just how many <get there>'s I left for myself. How many little notes, details, eye colors, hair colors, transitions, all need filled out.

For the cover of THE RADIANT KING I wanted something creepy and subtle to show that the religious leader wrapped in gold might be more unhinged than he let on and asked Magali to draw in the base of the ritual bowl, of many hands rising up clutching one another.

Oh look yet another, and they swear, really for reals now, they swear they aren't a marketer. Their email just has a bunch of weird pauses and overly flowery language that all of these emails just happen to use.
