My Ettorre kettle from MoMa came today! Very exciting to see any Pomo designs in production. This is a reproduction of a design by Sottsass in a new colorway by Bodum. RETVRN!

The kids are alright.

I just got some Birmingham Pen Company Firefox. It’s very close to the color of dries blood. Nice.

I bought this kettle I won’t use because it’s the first time I’ve seen an affordable new object designed by my king Etorre Sottsass. I’ve never been more excited for something I have no use for. The MOMA store changed the colors but we don’t talk about that.

The scale of these little punch windows in these blind arches is a choice. This is a church building, and there’s a metaphor there about promises I’m too respectful to make sober.

Listed on the UNESCO world heritage site just last week, the Newark Mounds are having their day in the sun. They rock.

@anfurman.bsky.social is my favorite designer. And he’s on the not bad site! Check him out he’s super talented and wrote the architecture book of the year “Queer Spaces” with Joshua Mardell. It has a beautiful cover you have to see in person.

Look at the little Pomo guy. He lives in downtown Columbus and straddles the flood wall. I love him and his unnecessary barrel vault.
