An old dude and his wife rolled up on me today in the Target parking lot and thanked me for taking my cart to the shopping cart corral. It was very sweet, but dang, I'm living in a real-life Progressive ad. Dude doesn't even work there.

Another attack on women. If you're in pain or have a fever, just suffer, because, ya' know, pregnancy is easy, "just tough it out." What's next, prosecuting women who have babies with "defects"? "Did you take Tylenol?" All of this is shockingly stupid and dangerous. It has to stop.

Watching the Little League World Series, which I love, however, I really wish people would stop with the “USA, USA” chants. It’s lame and unnecessary and I’ve never liked it. Maybe just stick with rooting for the kids.

The Goodyear blimp was flying over an elementary school around the block from my house this morning. For about 5 minutes I felt so much joy. I pointed it out to a neighbor who was getting her mail. It felt so nice to feel like a 5-year-old pointing out a pretty flower to a stranger.

I'm sure someone has mentioned this before, but I'm not so sure all of these goons even are police officers, federal officers, ICE officers. I fear there is a lot of LARPing going on and it needs to be exposed. Just looking at what they're wearing, kinda obvious a lot of it is fake.

@kait.bsky.social Dude! I loved your piece "Why aren't women allowed to play baseball?" In 1975 I was the only girl on a boys Pony League team, I was a catcher. Much later, I was the only woman playing on an MABL team. I played 14 seasons, mostly outfield because I had pretty good wheels.

I canceled my Washington Post subscription yesterday. The minute I did that, they offered me a new 1 year sub for half price. Today, that offer has gone UP by $40. FFS, what is wrong with people? Please know that I support journalism in many ways, but I just can't support that tool Bezos.

Friends, please, if you're wearing a mask, hopefully an N-95, please keep it on your face. I'm seeing a lot of folks pulling the mask down to talk to news folks, they can hear you! Save your lungs from the smoke. Please seal the mask around your nose and mouth. You are loved and needed.❤️
