One of the first things I bought after I became a registered nurse was a new, fancy, digital Crock-Pot. I was living in near-poverty so that was a very exciting upgrade in my life. I could never use it when I was on shift because I worked 12-hour shifts and had a long commute, days off though, wow.

I love this song so much. The day he passed away was just awful because, well, he was gone. But so much darkness was still in front of us. The song feels very relevant at this moment. So much oppression and darkness. But we can be heroes, just for one day.

I’ve really been enjoying the Lions these last few seasons. Really bummed they didn’t get in this year but injuries and coaching changes take a minute to adjust to. I am diggin the old school feel with the Bears, Packers, etc. I love football but can’t wait for baseball to start 😎

Dude, this is why I got NFL Redzone years ago. It's not super expensive like Sunday Ticket and you get to see pretty much everything that matters in every Sunday game. I get it on Sling and then cancel when the regular season is over. It's pretty cool! Check it out next season.
