Senator Cassidy's post is disappointing. He seems to be trying to please an administration that lacks tolerance for diversity.

The vile post of the Obamas by the Trump White House underscores a component of narcissistic behavior, jealousy.

I came across an article stating that, despite ongoing layoffs, Jeff Bezos is still committed to the Washington Post. Considering his actions, should we, as consumers, continue to support his businesses? I can’t help but think that Katharine Graham would be disheartened by this situation.

Are many Americans tired of hearing rhetoric from the Trump Administration?

Wasn't there a catchy tourism slogan that said, "Everything is bigger in Texas"? Sadly, it now seems that applies to healthcare fraud as well, casting a troubling shadow over the Lone Star State.

I am deeply disheartened by the current actions and policies of ICE. These practices not only undermine the dignity of veterans but also dishonor all those who have courageously served to defend our nation and uphold its founding principles.
January 25, 2026 at 8:31 AM
I watched the video, and I was utterly astonished by what I witnessed. It’s time for ICE to withdraw from Minnesota and every other state. We cannot continue to tolerate their current policies and actions. It’s imperative that we stand up for justice and demand change.

It has become increasingly apparent, through the unfolding events of the past year, that neither individual possesses the necessary qualifications for a cabinet-level position. Katharine Graham would undoubtedly be dismayed to see her former newspaper urge the confirmation of either woman.

It is utterly disgraceful for Attorney General Bondi to make demands of the Governor of Minnesota in light of the tragic recent events there. Instead, what citizens ought to be advocating for—through their congressional representatives—is accountability for ICE and its Secretary Noem under the law.
January 25, 2026 at 8:00 AM
Today's incident involving ICE agents could easily happen to any of us. This unacceptable brutality must come to an end, and those responsible—including Secretary Noem—must be held fully accountable under the law. It is imperative that we stand up against these injustices and demand change.
January 25, 2026 at 7:50 AM
I must respectfully disagree, Ms. Bondi. Our nation was founded on the desire of independence from British rule, a quest for religious freedom, and the creation of a government grounded in democratic ideals and individual rights. It is astonishing that this foundational knowledge eludes you.
January 25, 2026 at 7:38 AM
My heart aches for this man and his family; their plight could easily become a reality for any of us. I've already reached out to my congressional representatives to voice my strong disapproval of the cruel actions taken by ICE against individuals. I urge others to do the same.
January 25, 2026 at 7:35 AM
It is truly disheartening that Kristi Noem attempts to spin the recent ICE killing in Minneapolis as justified. The disturbing videos from the scene tell a different story. The actions taken by these agents are a stark reminder that this could happen to any one of us.

My heart aches deeply for those who have been unjustly arrested, brutalized, and tragically killed by ICE agents. This reality could touch any one of us. Their actions tarnish the honor of our veterans and betray those who protect us with integrity.
January 25, 2026 at 6:37 AM
I strongly encourage everyone to reach out to your congressional representatives and passionately voice your opposition and dissatisfaction with the actions taken by I.C.E. in Minneapolis and across our nation. Your voice matters, and together we can advocate for justice and compassion.

The ICE chaos continues: In New England, ICE arrested a corrections officer recruit who had completed a rigorous background check process. His I-9 paperwork indicated that he was authorized to work in the United States until April 2029.

To the GOP representatives who opted for deflection and theatrics during this hearing: your actions are not just shameful; they are profoundly reprehensible. Such behavior is a disservice to the courage and valor of the officers who bravely defended the Capitol on January 6, 2021.

Individuals are performing remarkable acts of compassion, highlighting the enduring goodness that exists in our country, even amidst these challenging times. Their efforts serve as a beacon of hope, reminding us all that kindness still thrives in our communities.

Hats off to Jack Smith for his honest and forthright testimony. To the Republican representatives who resorted to deflection and theatrics during the hearing, your actions are not only shameful but profoundly reprehensible. The overwhelming majority of Americans are appalled by your behavior.

“The book and the movie do not line up," Sheriff Kevin Joyce said, later adding, "We’re being told one story which is totally different from what’s occurring."

Witnessing this situation is profoundly disheartening. This administration seems quite comfortable sowing seeds of fear and discord, all while believing themselves to be patriots. I find that hard to accept.

Speaker Johnson and most GOP representatives are letting President Trump operate without oversight. Many are neglecting their duties, which is unacceptable. As an independent voter, I think it's time to vote them out.
January 22, 2026 at 1:05 AM
That statement is undeniably arrogant. This President and his administration are nothing short of an embarrassment.
