I play medieval games and share clips online and ponder on what life may have been like back then. I've got a two degrees in Medieval Literature and find modern games about the time can bring my imagination to life. I'm also a big advocate for #ADHD.

Remember the move Sheathing the Sword from #TheWheelofTime? This is a pretty good example of what that might look like! I'm continually impressed by #HalfSword 's ability to bring accurate #medievalcombat to life.

Look at how hard it is to find a weak point in decent armor. I love how this game, #HalfSword helps illustrate these things!

Breastplates are excellent #medieval armor; they work by deflecting attacks to reinforced areas or away from vital organs; but it's far from perfect coverage as seen here in this clip from #HalfSword.

What do you do when the enemy has a reach advantage? #HalfSword helps demonstrate closing the gap as quickly as possible to great effect!

It was very common in #medieval Europe for regular troops to wear all manner of armor in whatever arrangement they could afford. This fight shows the strengths and weaknesses of such armor coverage. Check out #HalfSword for more great #medievalcombat!

I for one hate going up against this weapon; but it's sure fun to wield! #HalfSword has a great set of physics and simulates #medievalcombat very well.

When we think of #medieval #weaponry we often think of the sword as king, but this little fight from #HalfSword shows why spears were popular across nearly all civilizations that we know of. Why not stab from far away?

I think what I like best about the realistic #medieval combat in #HalfSword is that removing a blade can be as damaging as placing it.

I'm absolutely loving playtesting #HalfSword, the incredible #medieval combat simulator. Controls take a little while to get a handle on, but it is totally worth it! #midevil
