Jonathan Dean for Senate
@dean4il.bsky.social
I am running for the U.S. Senate in Illinois because I don't trust our elected representatives to look out for our kids futures. We cannot afford to wait for them to figure it out.

Lawyer, solar entrepreneur, activist for survivors, and adventurer.

I am running for U.S. Senate because I have had it with our elected Democrats. Affording a comfortable life, earning a living wage, hope for our kids' futures--are under threat.

Elected Democrats aren't getting the job done. Join me and let's do it ourselves.

Nick Fuentes being a virgin is not newsworthy.

Who is this news to?

Project 2026 demonstrates Republicans’ crazy authoritarian complex.

Voters want to afford groceries and a home and Heritage is like: “Nah, we are going to neuter the FDA.”

SCOTUS is leading the way to a constitutional crisis.

We must reform the Court.

John Roberts will live in infamy as one of the worst chief justices in history.

Right up there with Roger Taney.

FTC was created by Congress to wield legislative, judicial, and executive power. So Congress made it independent of political pressure.

Now SCOTUS is going to end that independence, bastardize Congressional intent, and hand all that power to the executive.

SCOTUS is completely out of control.
December 8, 2025 at 9:44 PM
While SCOTUS is poised to hand Trump unfettered control over the FTC, you would be SHOCKED to learn the Chair is a total Trump groupie.

SCOTUS is poised to overturn 100 years of legal precedent so Trump can fire heads of independent agencies.

That is not how law works. This Court is a sham.

The current Supreme Court is an advanced Republican political operation masquerading as law.

It must be reformed.

“Dynamic pricing” just another game in a long list of corporate schemes to get you to pay more money for the same thing. It needs to stop.
In @nytopinion.nytimes.com

Businesses can use dynamic pricing to deliver better deals to customers. But they also are using the new technology to jack up prices.
Opinion | Goodbye, Price Tags. Hello Dynamic Pricing.
Shopping has always been a game. And now it’s being rigged against you.

Can you imagine being one of these National Guard members walking around DC today? You have been landscaping for months, your family is celebrating the holiday without you, and two of your friends were just targeted and shot—all while you are being used to make a political argument.

Send them home

A lot of Republicans out there really love Trump issuing illegal orders to military and the military following them.

Thank you to this victim for her courage.

Sexual assault involves severe power imbalances where the more powerful perpetrators will do anything to bury the survivor’s story.

There are real anti-establishment candidates in this race.

We cannot afford to rely on the folks who have tried and failed to stand up to Republican nonsense and Democratic ineffectiveness. We need to do it ourselves.

Why is anyone trusting Trump with the economy and our children’s futures when he can’t even be trusted to be alone with teenagers and tell the truth about it? #trumpepstein

If you can’t fight back, you’re not leading. You’re giving up. Time for a new attitude: one that acts, wins, and lifts up everyone who’s been told ‘that’s just how it is.'

Today, as everyday, I am grateful for the veterans who served this country and sacrificed for America.

May we take this moment to reflect on their courage and determination and honor their selfless sacrifice and lives by continuing to care for them after they have taken the uniform off.

Leave it to a bunch of aging, out of touch Senate Democrats to fold a winning hand.

Millions of people have been relying on Democrats to win this fight to lower their health care premiums and a small number of Senate Democrats just showed them that they can’t be trusted to see that fight through.

Australia's extensive solar power penetration makes so much energy that the government wants to offer free electricity at peak hours.
