Starmer will be looking for the fence to sit on.

I’d disagree - American society has, but here they are just referred to as muffins, not English muffins.
January 3, 2026 at 12:27 PM
You should probably just call them “muffins” and refer to those sweet things as “American muffins” because ours were invented about 700 years before the USA existed.

“Sleepy Joe couldn’t have done this. Many people say I aced it, just like my dementia test. We can drill, baby, drill and grab them by the pussy. Madura doesn’t hold the cards”

Does that help?

Trump’s boss could have instructed him to do this precisely so he can walk away from peace negotiations.
January 3, 2026 at 11:12 AM
@lewisgoodall.com what’s the likelihood of the phrase “Sleepy Joe could never have done this” being uttered in the press conference?

Remember that the reason for continued dementia testing is to monitor disease progress. #Trump

In retrospect, Gove could probably say he was more accurate than Nostradamus with his comment “I have come, reluctantly, to the conclusion that Boris cannot provide the leadership or build the team for the task ahead.”

I’m afraid #AntMiddleton is too busy patroitically living under Shakira Law in Dubai on the £3m he withdrew from his company before liquidating it and leaving the UK taxpayer with a £1.25m black hole caused by his unpaid taxes.

Revolted.

Sorry - don’t use “you and I” because I don’t agree with you.

If they could take the ever-increasing amount they were paying for us and save it into a pension pot that funded their own retirements instead I can 100% see them thinking that was a good idea.
December 31, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Today’s workers pay for today’s pensioners - fine when it started & life expectancy in retirement was 5-10 yrs. Now we have both a declining population & increased retired life expectancy of 20-30 yrs. we’ll reach a point when workers who can’t afford homes won’t fund it, and I wouldn’t blame them.

When I was at school with a Saturday job in London, I used to sell jewellery making equipment to Mickey Dolenz from The Monkees.

Back in the 1980s I refused to tax James Hunt’s car because the insurance was out of date. He was “emotional” and had a bit of a meltdown.

Maybe he used to own one of these
December 30, 2025 at 7:06 AM
Not just the name change, but the sacking of the board and replacing them with himself.
December 30, 2025 at 6:57 AM
@peterstefanovic.bsky.social - when you look at the actual numbers it’s a trickle not a flood. Context is really needed here or the flag shaggers will be foaming at their mouths again.
December 29, 2025 at 12:34 AM
#Trump has been getting his orders from his boss, I see.
December 28, 2025 at 7:50 PM
If you were in, say, Dubai and were getting jiggy with someone to whom you weren’t married, would you be committing a punishable crime under Shakira Law? Asking for a friend 🤪
December 28, 2025 at 5:28 PM
Agreed, Lewis - get them out now. Even with them gone, there will still not be enough seating for all of the remaining arses. Even more serious changes after these evictions are decades overdue but none of our politicians have the balls to do it.
