Europe can no longer rely on the US as an ally. The UK should rejoin the EU as a matter of urgency.
BREAKING: A Russian newspaper today — “America no longer sees our country as a threat… The US leader’s philosophy is closer to the values of Russia’s president, not the politicians of the Old World… he sees Europe as a liberal stronghold that must be destroyed…”

Read that again.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social you can unredact the redacted Epstein files 🤪
This is perfect. The DOJ's embarrassing snafu with disappearing redactions was the fault of Elon Musk. Musk cancelled government subscriptions to Adobe programs that would have made the redactions permanent. What a pack of fools.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social here are a couple more for you.
Huge respect to the papers for finding both an 88 year old worried about the tax bill on her 6 bedroom Kensington house and a 20 year old fretting about only being able to save £12k a year tax free.
Top work all around. These are not easy case studies to find.

The honest budget speech...

"This year we're putting pensioners ahead of growth. We're prioritising reform voters over growth. Incumbent businesses. Tax advisors...

And the party opposite can complain, but they did exactly the same thing.

In UK politics, this is called change"

@mrjamesob.bsky.social did you see this?
Holy shit. So Elon decides it would be nice to know what region of the world people are posting from. So they add that little feature.
2 hours later they figure out that many Trump supporters with millions of followers are posting from other countries. Surprise!
That "feature" is now gone.

@radiorachel.bsky.social there’s a dose of the truth for you after your utter nonsense on @lbc.co.uk last night.
Johnson spent years charming, bluffing, and backstabbing his way to the top.

Positioning himself as a latter-day Churchill when the moment came and leadership was desperately needed, he showed us who he was...

And thousands died.

The BBC is ours. It's ours to love. Ours to criticise. Ours to shout at when we feel in the mood.

And if Farage thinks that the way to win favour with voters is to stand around cheering as Trump takes down the BBC for $1 billion of personal enrichment then he's a bigger fool than anyone thought.

My grandfather & several great uncles are included on this list. They fought fascists & had they survived they would be ripping poppies off the lapels of the likes of Farage & Tommy ten names who are re-inventing the Nazi narrative of white supremacy.
This is not what they gave their lives for.
