There's a weird effect with Oxycodone. The pain is still there, I'm aware of it, but I'm also weirdly disconnected from it. It's like it's happening to someone else, or some other version of me. I can tell it's there but it's not bugging me as much as it was. I can function but at a lower level.

Oxycodone is heavier duty than anything else I have, and given how much I hated tramadol, it's not shocking that I hate taking the oxy. It gives me a bit of a hangover - I feel totally hungover and floaty in a way that I can't ground myself today, but lets see if it works.

I know, I was looking forward to that. :(

Blocking, there’s barely time for assembly

Like… you have a load of knitters using different wools and they complain about it being uneven because they’re rushed and don’t have time to spend time to check tension and adjust. Like… first thing you do with a new material. But when you have a few hours to knit a sofa cover as a team project…

They do, and comfy sofas but no ne of them seem to be used to knitting with that size needles. They have to use a wholly different hand position and grip, so it’s not their usual way of knitting. Don’t love the judges either to be honest.

Size 24mm needles… people literally brought their nana’s needles and they haven’t even had a look in.
