What worries me is that most Americans will simply ignore what is being done in Washington over the next couple of years. They'll turn on the football game, watch an episode of the Real Housewives of Someplace, and ignore it as fundamental freedoms and crucial institutions are carved away.

This is a Constitutional crisis and it’s a family emergency.

Yes, our Democracy is in peril, but our most treasured relationships with people are in tatters too.
