hahaha the reddit thread I found to fix my double-clicking mouse issue on my nice gaming mouse was like "blow under the tab to disperse static electricity" and I cannot fucking believe it worked. Incredible. It was a gift and I'd never buy a replacement so I'm glad it's solved

Now. Do I make chocolate chip cookies, shortbread cookies, or cheddar-and-thyme scones to bring with me for my glorious return to work...?? hmmm. Maybe the scones AND a batch of cookies... the office staff don't have as big of a sweet tooth as the shop guys do... hmmmm

Tomorrow we go to my dad's girlfriend's place for christmas eve, because we've done that for years, but this year he won't be there. I don't want to go. I had my first real "man I wish dad was here" moment today and it aches bone-deep. He didn't want his death to ruin christmas, though
