Thanks for posting. A sad ending to the story of the artist and this whimsical & wholly imagined city.
I rather like the rainbow.

I'm too old for gifts! But no one pays any heed. 🙏😁And I must say I'm humbly grateful. Quality art materials are sooo expensive.
I use big tubes for my commission work but love smaller art stuff that I can take anywhere.

So enjoyed reading "Our Story" and the photos are great.
I love this part of the Cape, especially the passes with their awesome vistas but not so pleasurable in summertime 😅
(My dad kept it simple: Don't trust a person who doesn't like a dog)

We, the adults have failed children across our country.
Every January on the first day of school we see those eager wide-eyed little expectant faces. And we shamefully let them down. The basic edu system is broken, smashed.
And adult literacy is still a privilege. Heartbreaking.

My favorite was Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead. The monologue about death was extraordinary. Brilliant writer. Such a loss. ❤️🌹🪷

Mike Nichols told my dad that Tom Stoppard was one of his best friends. My dad said “I’ll bet you have some great conversations,“ and Mike said “he just makes you ashamed.”
