He’s definitely talking about the insurrection act - that was always the plan if SCOTUS didn’t let him use the Guard as his personal military force. He’s going to look for a reason to invoke the Insurrection Act and bypass their ruling.

Not if we do our jobs, it won’t. We need to make sure people are aware of the change, and we need to urge everyone to vote as early a possible in their states.

Barring that, we’re going to have to be willing to stand in line to vote on Election Day - we have a nation to save.

Have you seen the story from Spencer Ackerman on the torture tactics at Alligator Alcatraz putting people in small boxes? It’s horrific. Amnesty International is aware and has been taking statements. I couldn’t finish the article. It made me cry.

Courts *can* compel them, but I don’t know if any of them actually will. I expect if it goes that route, the administration will try to delay as much as possible - and who knows what SCOTUS will do.

The FIFA “Peace Award” that was given to Trump is such a flagrant play on his ego, next year when they don’t give it to someone he’s going to say “they only gave it to me nobody else has done what I’ve done, not even close.” How can these people around him watch this farce and keep a straight face?

Personally, I think she sees which ways the winds are blowing and is getting the fuck out of dodge.
