Happy #NationalDogDay! Daisy would like you to know, in case you’re contemplating getting one, that most of their lives they’re just two-year-olds in dog suits.

It’s #AAPIHERITAGEMONTH and also #JewishAmericanHeritage month. I didn’t plan it, I swear, but I’m really enjoying all three of these. Fairweather’s is an adaptation of his book The Prosecutor for YA readers. So what are you reading?

I've been listening to the audiobook of Sarah Wynn-Williams' new Careless People, which she reads herself. It's a fascinating, sometimes funny account of the sloppy and unethical ways Facebook operated in the 2010s--and undoubtedly still does. If you're active on FB, it's worth reading. #Facebook

Goldilocks wants to write. This cafe is too cold. That cafe is too warm. The library is just right.

The Ipswich Democratic town committee has been organizing a weekly rally on Saturdays at noon in the center of town. I just happened to be there and came away feeling so much better.

In honor of International Women's Day, and Women's History Month in the U.S. (a twofer!), a few of the women I admire. They are: Betty Friedan, Ruth Ozeki, Zadie Smith, Grace Paley, Maira Kalman, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Gloria Steinem, Alice Paul, and Margaret Lowman.
