While we had made it to a beautiful marina just north of Norfolk, and spent a few days doing maintenance, this wasn't a feasible option for me. Too far from home. Too costly. I researched and called a few marinas further up the Chesapeake and found one just south of the c&d. Quiet, affordable...

The starboard engine gauges decided to get all wonky, and we found ourselves losing power on the southern end of Chincoteague. Once again, we hobbled into the nearest marina, this time at night, on one engine. We had a fishing barge following us thru the channel and then we came upon a dredge boat..
