"Each problem that we face is just a part of this movement,
It seems helpless, but if we stick together we'll get through it,
And return to the essence from which we've been uprooted,
And wake humanity from these illusions."

“Like all empires, the harsh and violent forms of control that have been used on the 'wretched of the earth,' have migrated back to the homeland in a time of decay to keep the population in check. The tyranny we have imposed on others is now being imposed on us.”

the way you’re still not wearing a high quality mask in the face of an entirely normalized mass disabling and eugenics event in a society that otherwise demonstrates its capacity for unapologetic inhumanity signifies how not serious you are about individual and our collective survival.

When you feel yourself becoming complacent or surrendering to hopelessness or apathy, remember that everything that exists today exists because someone(s) dreamt it up and decided to put in the work to make it a reality. We can create new ways of doing things, new ways of being, new worlds.

Jimmy Kimmel was pulled from the air indefinitely for his remarks about CK. I don’t feel bad. White people need to get fed up. White people are going to have to be casualties of the white supremacy they uphold if y’all want this shit to fall.

i read this and cried simply because children never consented to being sacrificed to covid for capitalism!
screenshot from threads that reads:

@beth.kao

So COVID has hit our household. My 12 year old, who vigilantly wears a KN95 every day at school (and is one of the very very very few kids who mask at school), on the bus, and in any public indoor spaces, came down with it first. He was so tearful when his COVID test turned positive, and sobbed, "I'm so sorry I got the baby sick!" (He's referring to his baby brother.)

MY SWEET, SWEET CHILD! It is NOT your fault! You did everything that you could. One-way masking is helpful, but it's not 100% 1/

Especially when COVID cases are RAMPANT.

It really broke my heart that he took his getting sick as his own failing, when it was really the rest of society and our public health institutions that have failed us.

This post is about the CDC's messaging around COVID mitigation strategies, especially their lack of emphasis on masking with well-fitting respirators like N95s, KN95s, and KF94s.

facebook post that reads:
Folks thank me for dispensing info about COVID, but truthfully, I hold back a lot. My wife is a reproductive endocrinologist and the things I've learned about COVID and pregnancy makes me feel justified in calling this an extinction event. Everything about COVID is coming for our minds and bodies. A mask and clean hands could have saved a lot of folks. Common sense and solid leadership could have saved us all.
