I teared up at this beautiful story from Ed Wood’s Hollywood Rat Race about a personal appearance by an aged Bela Lugosi who feared he’d been consigned to the dustbin (sorry about the bad screenshots)

A lot of people who watch The Pitt seem to want every episode to end with a character speaking directly into the camera and saying which things that happened were good and which were bad

Reading The Warlord by Mike Grell and it’s so good. A big part of its charm is that it’s clearly the work of a talented young artist figuring things out as he goes.

Neither of the big 2 would ever give someone this kind of leeway today, which is part of why they’ve become so stagnant

I read the first issue of Tom Taylor’s terrible Superman book several months after it came out, couldn’t remember the controversy surrounding it, then immediately remembered as soon as I saw the character with pink hair because that’s the only way cape comics know to depict gay people

Really loved The Public Enemy (1931). Cagney is incredible and the way it keeps the violence mostly offscreen makes it so brutal.

I’m trying to make an effort to read books other than comics this year, and I’ve started with The Sundial by Shirley Jackson. I’m almost halfway through, and it’s one of the funniest books I’ve ever read.

Good writer imo

I love college football, but the fact that a team from the South called the “Rebels” still exists and is one game away from playing for a championship should be deeply embarrassing for the sport

Why does anyone watch anything other than old episodes of Night Court?

This is either going to be sad or incredible, with no in between

If I miss Jake Paul getting his head knocked off his shoulders due to buffering I’m going to be pissed. If I miss Jake Paul winning due to buffering I’ll be happy
