So the great Nate Silver forgets who was president in 2020 and gets his inflation math wrong (inflation was higher in the late 1970s).
Inflation was a factor in 2024, no doubt, but you don’t need a “numbers guy” who makes these kinds of errors to tell you that.

As bad as this is in principe, it’s also anti-Catholic (Catholics do not include “For thine is the kingdom, the power…” in the Our Father), but the people running DoD are too ignorant to know and too bigoted to care.

I humbly submit that NIMBY pressure has a lot more to do with old Democrats refusing to back Mamdani than anything else. Then again, his YIMBYism is one of the reasons why I like him.
