There are still folks who get that fighting autocracy abroad is a vital part of fighting for democracy at home. Most are younger than I and have their own labels. Others have dropped the one that I adopted in college. But I refuse to give it up. So I am the last neoconservative.

I watched one of those person-in-the-street videos from Russia and it really brought home the close connection between right wing political rhetoric in Russia and the USA. Many of those interviewed professed to think Mr. Putin and Russia, working closely with Lord Dampnut, were fighting "fascism."
