The DC grand jurors did the right thing by withholding this indictment. Dems need to do the right thing by them: end taxation without representation. DC voters are owed representation in Congress and full home rule.

When the GOP's Reign of Error is done, Dems need to institute DC as the 51st state.

Any one except those ones who actually are.

They need to believe this to be okay with their mediocre lives. Or to excuse their own exploitation of people who work for them, who won't put up with it if they have other good options.

Too many rural and suburban Americans are sold on the idea that it's the folks who grew up in the cities who are keeping them down. Or who are a shade or more darker. Or the people who rely on any social service to survive. Or their classmates who went to college and moved away.

It’s what goes out when you’ve gone and fired all your copy editors before writing your own letter of resignation.

He really should have thought ahead on this one.

Make DC a state, and then it can press charges for crimes against civil society, if he does set foot here again.

And hand the paper over to Mackenzie Scott while he’s at it? (Hey, a liberal girl can dream!)

And yet so clueless about how her ideas pulled America farther along the dark road that it's now on.

My suspicion that most new ice agents would flunk a real background check is vindicated.

Dems should require that ICE agents submit to no-exceptions security clearance process, as soon as they have the votes to pass it.

I know, right? That fool fell victim to one of the classic blunders: Never go in against Isaac Chotiner when undying mortification is on the line.

Full points for delivery of an emotionally sincere and searing monologue as well as for a brave sartorial commitment to the bit. IMO, he hasn't quite nailed Adam West's inimitable cadences yet, but I'm looking forward to checking out his future work.

Bravo, caped crusader!

Depends.
Is the existence of objective truth in some way integral to the institution's moral framework?
Was the purpose of the lie to abuse the good faith of the public and/or intentionally harm the reputation of someone or something on a false pretext?
I don't think it's that complicated, but YMMV.

And if you're worried, in cases there's someone who really wants to bear false witness and others who really want to hear them speak anyway, I suspect the absence of a ready platform would not delay their meeting down too long.

That kind of seems to me like a sealion question, as well as one's thats it's actually not all that relevant. I think professional publishers editors, and journalist have a positive obligation to adhere to the truth on any platform they publish, edit, or write for.

If that's what they're actually salty about, I'd question whether Wil earned the heat this time. It was a vote, not a valentine, folks.
