It has been six months ago since I watched Demonlover and since then I have seen multiple films that 1. came out before it 2. held similar asthestic choices and vibes very similar to Demonlover and 3. delt with its political concepts/themes far better than Demonlover ever could.
Anyways I watched Demonlover last week. A lot of it was a huge waste of potential. I genuienly have intense hatred for when French filmakers specifically want to be "American." It's very cringe and it always will be. Got some great looking shots. Everything else, again. Wasted.

Today I watched J. Michael Muro's Street Trash. Not for the faint of hearts. But I gotta say. Genuienly might be one of the craziest films I've ever seen. Utter apocalypse. Tonally all over the place. Hilariously like Visitor Q in that way.
