Saddest part is how the art he made for an NFT game a couple of years before obviously looked leagues better💀(barring the actual designs themselves)

I really have to ask why guys like him seemingly can no longer work making actual games, dude spent his last 10 years at Atlus doing literally nothing

A model *supposedly* trained exclusively on his art and can it still generate an incidental Elsa Frozen 🤨

I guess you could call this a "fusion accident", if you will 🥱

Unfortunately, the sequel hardly did much for me and makes the mistake of immediately rehash content from the previous game (seems like an inversion to Gold & Silver where the map of the previous game is treated as a bonus🤔)

And the fact that it's still based in Gen 1 card sets is a bit dull....

what about bloodstained rotn? that game takes most of its layout from symphony of the night and reuses the main gimmick from aria of sorrow

not to mention that the classic mode is a straight-up remake of castlevania 1, and the DLC is obviously based in simon's quest

and everyone loved it

I've seen some people try to justify this by saying it's covering for the fact that these are already targetted at a very small audience so it's a zero-waste product

except for the fact that publishers like city connection can re-release literal famicom shovelware and don't ask for money upfront 🤨

they gotta make a pretty penny out what are extremely niche games

personally I'm kinda baffled at how often it's announced any has-been company will release a collection of easy-to-emulate old titles, but the announcement it's for a crowdfunding campaign (they are THAT broke)🤨
