We were just there in July (I think the markers had already been removed; we did not see them). Apparently the earned praise of Black WWII vets *will die* in the racist Trump autocracy.

I’m afraid I have to take partial blame for this. When his dad was in SD for an America’s Cup race, and Wyatt was 3-4 years old, I was commissioned to paint his playroom in a “southwest style.” He absorbed the bold colors…but nothing else it seems.

Great piece. Just started reading The Mission by Tim Weiner about the CIA in the 21st Century. The rules of engagement for US/CIA drug interdiction were VERY strict (though often ignored then too; it’s why they shot down a plane full of missionaries in 2001).
